Marwaris - a horse breed with many legends entwined around it! The special and famous inward turned ears are the biggest distinguished mark of these unique horses with their strong character. Come to us and shoot our beautiful Marwaris at special locations!
Since many years we are able to work with some of the best equine photographers in the world. In cooperation with them we organized photo tours that are a great possibility to equine photographers to expand their horizons!

Equine Photo Workshop with Carina Maiwald
Carina Maiwald travels the entire world to tell the story of remarkable horses & the people who love them.
Carina came to us twice - at 2018 and 2019 years.
And at 2019 year from 26th Okt till 04 Nov 2019 togerther with carina Maiwald we meet wonderful group of equine photographers who joined a big photoworkshop with our marwari horses and we had a brilliant common results.

Crowing up in Germany Carina Maiwald fell in love with horses at an early age and felt inspired by their uniqueness ever since then. The fascination about their beauty and strength lead her to beingan award winning photographer, nowspecialising in wild horses and equine related cultures. She has dedicated her life to capturing the true essence of horses in every kind of way. as one of her life goals is to at least once visit each existing population of wild horses around the globe.

They have curled ears and you can fee! their impressive presence long before you see them The Marwari is an old and rare horse breed, only found in India Their days as war horses are over, but the loyal, strong and persevering character still shines through their brilliant appearance Some people believe these horses are descended from the gods and their breeding history goes back until the 12th century Let s explore the legendary world of the Marwari and meet all kind of different horses on this photographic adventure.
Expand your Horizon
Boost your photography skills by learning from one of the best equine photographers of the world how to create emotional and soulful photos Lots of sessions are planned to present the versatility of the Marwari in portrait and freedom in breathtaking locations such as traditional architecture, mysterious Banyan trees of an old Maharadscha Lodge, in water and varying desert landscapes The true essence and power of this breed shows in the sand dunes, where it was originally breed for and feels mostly at home Additionally we will have group sessions of post production where I will share my workflow in retouching.
Magical Culture
India hosts too many wonders and magic to just focus on horses. The journey started at the date of Diwali. which is one of the biggest festivals in Hindu culture. "Diwali" means rows of lighted lamps and we will join the traditional celebrations. Furthermore you will fiave the chance to visit a Leopard sanctuary, famous forts and castles, shop on traditional spice nd textile markets and explore temples It comes naturally to also offer a trip to one of the 7 world wonders and UNESCO heritage The Taj Mahal. All touristic trips are optional for you and will be discussed with the group.
Accomodation and food
As a small group we travel around Rajasthan to shoot horses at the most beautiful locations You will share double rooms in beautiful hotels or traditional houses and will also stay in a luxury camp in the middle of the desert There you will have the chance to ride on Marwaris through the desert doesn t this sound like a dream to you.
During the tour we will eat delicious traditional food to complete the cultural experience The meals are suitable for a vegetarian and vegan diet

My photography is a collection of my emotions and passion for the horse and the world around me.
For as lone as I can remember I've had a camera in one hand and a horse.
"I want my clients to be able to preserve their precious memories with museum quality heirlooms that will be preserved for generations to come I loved looking through my mother and grandmother's "photo drawer" it was filled with photos of family, friends and pets I wouldn't want my own family treasures to be lost, so I certainly don't want my clients to end up that way.
Tamara came to us with the group of photographers at 2020 year and we had a nice time and a great photography results too.

The Indian state of Rajasthan is a beautiful fusion of old and new the ancient and the modem Historically Rajasthan is one of India's richest regions littered with magnificent forts and palaces that were once home, and in many cases still are. to royal princes Some of these are now hotels where we will . stay during this amazing photography workshop India has many wonderous sights and magical places it would be a crime to just focus on horses, so we are giving you the best of the best.
Mixed thoughout the workshop we will explore the legendary land of tire Marwari horse and this exoctic horse breed, only found in India Their strong spirit and persevering character will capture your heart and take your breathe away, Many people believe Marwari horses are descendents from the gods An equine breed of incredible beauty and grace, that was strong enough to hold its own against the fiercest of attacks and to survive the harsh unforgiving conditions of its land Yet it was endowed with a grace that can only be compared to poetry in motion Its courage and loyalty have been immortalized and along with its legendary masters, it has come to be worshipped by the people of India.
As a group we travel around India to photograph the Marwari horse in spectacular places, beautiful palaces and traditional architecture mysterious Banyan trees in water and varied desert landscapes with and without traditional jewelry
We had two days safari into Ranthambore National park- the most renowned national park in northern India We will also visit a Leopard sanctuary famous forts and palaces, shop traditional spice and textile markets all while learning to see and capture natural light in unimaginable ways to give your images depth and emotion
We immerse ourselves in the pulse, sounds and colors of Holi Festival Holi Festival signifies the victory of good over evil, the arrival of spring, end of winter, and for many a festive day to celerate unity and togetherness It is also celebrated as a thanksgiving for a good harvest

We stay in the finest heritage hotels in Jaipur, Bikaner, Ranthambore and Jodhpur
During the workshop we will have delicious traditonal and continental dishes to complete our cultural dining experience. Meals will accomodate vegetarian and vegan diets.

Rajasthan is still very traditional. We recommend you to wear long trousers or skirts and dresses that cover minimum your knees Also your tops shouldn to be too short as a minimum the shoulders should be covered Linen clothing is a coool and comfortable option
Equine Photo Workshop with Cristiane Slawik
Christiane Slawik is one of the best known animal photographers and regularly offers photography courses in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. A nice opportunity for me to gain experience in horse photography you are getting . She is one of the most famous animal photographers and has specialized in horse pictures. And she was the first big equine photogrepher who worked with us many times so we are always thankful for that wonderful time and a big experience.

Christiane teaches her photography courses with her husband Thomas Fantl. At the beginning, all participants were able to express their expectations and everyone was picked up on their prior photographic knowledge. There were tips on proper exposure, lens selection, choice of focal length and shutter speeds.
Practiced portraits, horses in motion, horse details and also mounted horses galloping and jumping. Capturing the horse in motion, choosing the right framing, getting the right focus. It requires a lot of knowledge.
We had one of biggest group ever while working with Christiane and it was a great trips.
